My nail polish collection as of today. I just thought I’d snap a photo for you all. I think I may have to clear out a shelf on my other book case and make another rack. Lol
Reorganized my polishes AGAIN..lol. After my mom said she didn’t like my plastic storage, I just decided to redo it (I used my plastic boxes for something else). I moved my books onto a smaller bookshelf and decided to make more nail polish racks, but with measurements specifically to fit into the shelves of my larger bookcase. I gotta admit that I do prefer having all the polishes displayed in racks.
I was hoping that making another rack & putting everything in a bigger space would create more room & less crowding..guess I was wrong. Oh well..
As you can see the racks are very sturdy! :-]
A front & side view of my nail polish racks!
The black one is the one that I just finished making right now. It holds between 70-80 polishes of mixed brands. This is a super easy & cheap diy alternative to buying a nail polish rack, and it doesn’t take too long! This took me maybe 2 hours, and that’s just because I kept on getting distracted.
Here’s the tutorial I watched to do this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZDvTA54Jg30
It has 2 parts, but the first video has a link to a second part!
I think I’m going to go to Dollar Tree today
I want to get some supplies to make another nail polish rack! I just need to figure out where to put it. Lol.
If anyone wants an inexpensive way to make your own polish rack here’s a tutorial: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZDvTA54Jg30
It’s great! I used it to make the rack I have, and it only cost like $3.00 since I already had most of the supplies, and it holds about 70-80 polishes!
My life would seriously be complete if I had this rack for my nail polishes. It’s fucking awesome. If only it wasn’t so expensive.
