Thanksgiving Water Marble
When all else fails, water marble! Lol. At least that’s what I do. Thanksgiving is still a week away, but I these colors felt very Fall/Thanksgiving to me, so I went ahead and marbled with them.
Colors used:
OPI - Over The Taupe
China Glaze - Lemon Fizz, Peachy Keen
Sally Hansen X-treme Wear - Green With Envy
I wanted to try out my new Hard Candy polish for marbling, and it spread very well in the water, but the whole process was incredibly frustrating. Now that the weather is just colder in general, the polish was drying incredibly fast in the water, and the designs weren’t coming out how I wanted. Not to mention it was extremely messy, which is, for the most part, very uncommon for me. I mattified it because it looked better that way than it did shiny. And then of course, I smudged a finger immediately after putting matte top coat. Anyways, done ranting and raving. Lol.
Colors used:
Hard Candy - Frenzy, Matte-ly In Love
Zoya - Kelly
Essie - Chinchilly
Water Marble FAQ
I have just finished creating a Water Marble FAQ. You can view it by clicking on the link, or it can be found on my page; there is a link under the My Pages section.
I am not a professional. These are things that I’ve picked up from various tutorials and based on my own experience, so just because these things work for me, doesn’t necessarily mean they will work for you. Everything is based on my own opinion.
For now there are just a few questions in there based on what I’m frequently asked, however I will add to it as time goes on, or if you have a specific question you think I should add to the FAQ, feel free to send it to my ask, and I’ll be more than happy to add it.
I really hope that this helps anybody who has water marble questions!
One of my favorite color combinations that I’ve water marbled with!

My hair stylist asked me to do her nails when I went for a hair appointment last night. I didn’t have my supplies. I used her polishes & this is what I created. (Since I didn’t have a dotting tool.. I used the tip of a PEN to do the dots. Lol.) She wanted to see how I did water marbling, so I did a few water marble nails for her. She loved them. :) Wish you could see it’s true amazing-ness. Crappy iPhone pic.. :(
